Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer , and songwriter. Two EPs were released by the artist I'm free (2012) [3and an EP that was self-titled in 2014. He signed to Capitol CMG. Mansion was his first major-label release. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It reached number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have won numerous accolades, some of which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with the release of Perception. the album peaked at the top of the charts in the United States and was certified platinum. The album's third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 was a global top 10 hit. The sequel, The Search (2019) was a commercial hit. Feuerstein claimed that Rap was his escape from the world during his early years. He recorded songs on his karaoke machine. The raps he penned were recorded on one microphone. On November 29, 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut album Moments under his real name. His debut single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the track, was featured. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein attracted the attention of Xist Music. On May 2, 2012 Feuerstein released his debut extended play I'm Free with production by Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also included an exclusive version of "Alone" which featured Sean Simmonds. Xist had previously teased the release of their self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein broke up with the label in the wake of a dispute, and production of NF was delayed. NF also included a song titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams in its compilation album Move Vol 1. On the 4th of November, 2013, he issued a single "Beautiful Addiction" and it was released on November 4. Profitt was heard again on the track as well the vocals of Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
